All early GUILD guitars have the serial number written On a label, but since the M 75 did not have a label the Number was stamped into the back of the headstock.
So, before you swap out your movement, think about repairing, please! One caliber 440 movement date is not enough to accurately date a Gruen Curvex watch. if you are absolutely sure the movement is original (aka this is a new old stock Gruen), then OK, take the risk.
